Question Is my Axis guitar genuine?

Yes they arę both marked the same. Never played more comfortable guitar ever and I own 15 :)
Very good then!!

Just for fun, can you measure the pickups impedance? I would like to compare with the pickups on my Axis Super Sport.
They should be exactly the same pickups, but....ehi....we MUST waste some time in some funny way!!! :)

I own 15 guitars as well...all amazing instruments, but I love the comfort of my MMs over all!

Can't do it atm but I will take it to my local music store on Saturday maybe they can do it and I'll post results.

:)

For your reference, in case you need it, I reverted wiring to original on my Axis Super Sport and, after that, verified and measured the following:

1) bridge, full humbucker, 16.5 ohm
2) bridge + neck, outer coils (parallel), 4 ohm
3) bridge + neck, full humbuckers (parallel), 8 ohm
4) bridge + neck, inner coils (parallel), 4 ohm
5) neck, full humbucker, 15 ohm

Numbers from 1 to 5 are switch positions, from bridge to neck pickup.
You've a 3 positions toggle switch and it should match positions 1,3,5 of mine.
My Axis is from 2009, your's from the end of '90s and it is possible, if I remember right, that neck pickup changed overtime.

look up serial numbers 87519, 87520, 87521... the Axis in the middle is mine. The Data Base can be a little sketchy at times and things can be missed. Side note, I would be interested in either EVH (87519 or 87521) if someone here has one of them.
