I love the look of the Bongo. At 1st glance you know exactly what it is. When I see one on stage I know the player knows tone and that I am in for a treat.....:)

When anyone says to me, "I've never seen a Bass like that before"! I tell them they need to get out of the house more often, and that everyone I KNOW plays them, and that settles that!!!!:D

I have had many basses come and go. My Bongo is 'the best' bass that I have had the opportunity to play in a very long time. To me, if you can hold the groove and present the tone a song demands, that's what matters. The bass is very versatile and can 'fit' into most genres of music.

Try it out and go with your gut. I am yet to be disappointed and everywhere I go, I promote the Bongo like no tomorrow.

Cheers,

Shepp...

I am a new Bongo owner and love the looks of it, but also it is the best fretless I have ever played not to mention sounding the best. The Bongo is the way to go IMHO!

Absolutely, tone first!

Besides I've found the eye-catching Bongo-good-looks to be the start of some great conversations! People will remember you, for sure!
