Or is it a limited/special edition and only for a limited time? I have a bad case of GAS and really fancy a Purple Sunset one with Floyd, matching headstock and premium quilt, but that's £2200 over here so will take a while to save up for!!! Any idea how long you'll continue making them, especially in that colour?

Of course, this is subject to the maple topped Luke, or Luke 1 reissue not appearing. If either does, all bets are off...I'm having one no matter what!!!

I totally want a hardtail, Purple Sunset Y2D as well. Like the OP, it's going to take me a long time to be in a financial position to buy one. I'm going to miss the 20th Anniv. Silo. I'm going to miss the LE guitars for a while too. Hopefully, I'll be able to get my Y2D and a maple-top JP/20th Ann. Silo hybrid (if BP and JP want to make one).

What's this y2d I hear you guy's talking about? It sounds like a very good instrument.

It's the 20th anniversary edition of the Steve Morse with a gorgous maple top, tidied up pick up arrangement and slightly thinner neck. And Purple Sunset is one of the coolest colours ever commited to a guitar...

My honest and objective opinion, MB--anyone who knows me well knows I tell it like I see/hear it.
I think it's been too late for years to worry about a little toothache now! ;)

Hey you....Long time no speak.

Hey Jon,
You're right about that. It has been a while. Hope all's well on your side of the mountains. Just as an aside... I walked into the kitchen today to see Thom's Y2D in about 30 pieces on the table. Even all apart like it was, I was distracted by the beautiful flame and coloration. If you ever have any finished Y2D bodies that don't work out for whatever reason, they'd make excellent tiny guitar earrings (I'd buy a pair!) key fobs or other jewelry. Excellent job on that finish, BTW. :D

I can only take credit for the fretwork and setup on that one....The rest of the MM team gets the kudos

The neck profile on Steve's #1 has changed over the years due to wear & re-frets, so the new profile was used on the Y2D. As I understand it, this new profile is on the newer Morses as well.
