I've only been here for a few months, and don't post very often. I have two EBMM guitars, and enjoy learning more about them.

One of the things that's confusing to me is all of the initials that are used in the discussion of various guitars. Some of them, I have figured out to a degree, although I don't know why they're called this, or what makes it unique.

I'll start with a few that I've figured out, and follow with the ones that I do not yet understand. My hope is that understanding these things more will help me de-code the forum and get a better idea of what's being talked about.

PDN = Premier Dealer Network [what is this about?]
EBMM = Ernie Ball Music Man
SBMM = Sterling Ball Music Man
STV = St. Vincent
JP = John Petrucci

These are great answers. I wasn't expecting so many, FFS! This list is tight AF for the FAQ. And very comprehensive AFAIK.

I had to edit my OP, as I had noted PDN as "Preferred Dealer Network," when it should be "Premier Dealer Network."

I assume that these guitars are special LE releases, but not certain. All I know is that I bought one, and it's my favorite.

Outstanding guitar! More pics are necessary! If you haven't created a NGD thread I highly suggest it along with your thoughts on the guitar and more pics!!! :)

I have not done that yet, but now that I know what NGD means, I'll think about doing it for my JP6 and my STV.
