Is this a genuine Sterling guitar?

Hi, I've been offered this Sterling by Musicman - it looks legit however the headstock logo doesn't have the SUB logo... just the Sterling logo.

Can anyone help?

I'd like to buy this as soon as possible

My guess is yes, looks like a Sub3, someone may have sanded off the logo.

What does the back of the headstock say, and can you post a picture of the neck plate?
I'll give you a definitive answer if you can provide this.

My suggestion: If the seller doesn't give you further documentation so that I can verify it's authenticity, don't purchase it.
