Is this a good example or what purple sunset looks like in person?

I found these pictures and they seem way more purple than what I see most of the time. Usually, to my eyes, the purple sunset looks almost like a tobacco burst but with a hint of purple to it... These look almost white to purple. Is this what it looks like in real life?

Not really, at least not what mine looks like.
Looks like the flash on the camera washed it out.

looks fine to me very nice is that the one Andys Guitars has on ebay? Every Perple Sunset Y2D I have seen has had different shading some darker, some lighter and cameras and lighting make a difference, nice guitar, must admit as much as i want to bond always have had trouble with the Morse, but the Y2D for me was so much better.

Looks washed out to me as well. Much too bright in those pics.

The pics look good - the flame is awesome in your pics...

If the pics were taken using a flash indoors then the colors look just fine....the way they appear is to be expected.
