I love that it states the tape is in perfect working order. How do you verify it
maybe some carbon dating? Pretty funny.

I read somewhere (at a Gibson site) that someone bought a p.u-ring from a '59 Les Paul for $10.000. It was in excellent condition.;)
In light of that, $75 for some pieces of tape isn't that bad. It's the vintage market, where authenticity is king.

Herein lies the paradox. If the part is authentic from another instrument (ie other than the one you are installing it in) then how authentic is the donee instrument? The lines get very blurred. Probably one of the many reasons I avoid the whole "vintage" thing, or at least, won't pay silly money for it.

I guess if you had a '56 Strat that was missing pickup tape, that would be the deal of the century. I guess...

It looks like dog bone treats. I'm gonna run a test and put my monitor on the floor, and call my dogs in by yelling treat. If they lick my monitor their fake, if not I'd say it real and someone better jump on this quick!

THis is my favorite part "THIS WILL BE PROFESSIONALLY AND EXPERTLY PACKAGED WITH PROFESSIONAL GRADE PACKING MATERIALS " Because we all know how damaged this tape can get in transport:D
