I have to admit that I'm across the guitars more than the basses, so I need your help. Is this a rare Dargie? Fretless with piezo

I can't speak with any certainty but I would say that if you want an unlined fretless Stingray Hp I'd pick this one up. If there will be others I can't imagine it would be many.

Very pretty!

looks like it

The bridge looks quite nice on that bass - more shiny than the round barrels

I may be wrong, but I think there should be a martini inlay, possibly in first position.

Dargie2s are pretty rare to begin with. I am sure this one as spec'd doesn't have many siblings.

<dumb question>
Has a list of the number of Dargie 2s built (by model and spec) been released as was done for the original Dargies? (See http://www.ernieball.com/forums/music-man-guitars/30764-dargie-delight.html#post486017). I've searched the forum but can't find anything other than old posts asking the same question. I know, I know...the list of the original Dargies was only indicative. Still, it was fun to see what's rare, and what's really, really, really rare.

Nice Dargie II, Colin. A gorgeous instrument, and no doubt quite rare.

No. I asked in the serial number thread, but Aziah said they hadn't released production numbers.

The first Dargie and the 30th were exceptions to EB's policy of not releasing production numbers. The Dargie had an interesting story from conception to delivery so I guess releasing the numbers was the icing on the cake. NFI why the 30th's numbers were released.
