New here and don't mean to just barge in but I would like to tap your knowledge base.

I saw one similar on ebay. I think it is a great case and would like it even more if I knew it was what I think it is....And if it is, What is the button on the storage cover for? Am I missing something?

It looks like it could be one the the old tolex cases. We use SKB cases now. The button is a snap lock.

EBMM Case

Thanks. The Salesman at the Pawn Shop (formely Eugene's Music of Shreveport) swore it was for the pat pend Wolfie that is pictured. It had all the case candy from the guitar in it (brochure, trem bar, wolfgang strings, etc). I have been puzzled because it fit so well. Now it all makes sense. I like the rectangular cases much more than the guitar shaped Peavys.

Looks exactly like the cases my Axis and EVH originally came in.

They both fell to pieces, and the latches broke, due to years of heavy gigging. I now use Hiscox cases as I find them to be the best. The str*t case fits the EVH/Avis perfectly.
