Is this for real?

They also show no picture of the neck joint plate, which is more suspicious.

If they pulled the neck, there are markings on the neck and neck pocket that could prove whether it's a real EBMM neck and body or not.
 
I remember seeing that guitar just last week on Ebay (under item# 142629367528). He had it listed then as a "Clone" of an Axis...now he says it's a 2nd? Grrrr.....

Aside from that, the "Axis" decal is crooked, the pickup routes look like my 7 year old drew them, the tuners aren't branded, the Floyd nut & bridge look to be the cheapest versions imaginable, where the back of the neck meets the rear of the headstock is too pointy, etc.
 
This sort of thing is so frustrating. Luckily, we can spot the fine details, but what about the poor soul who buys it and thinks he has the real thing?
 
Some unsuspecting sole paid $660.00 for this guitar. It is very sad that Ebay would not remove it when it was reported to be a counterfeit.
