Just saw this post from JP on Facebook ...

From the size the calf and the fact it's his post I'm assuming it is HIS leg - no ?

If so, well that's errm "dedication".... and he did very well to sign the back of his leg as well as he did :p

But BP, you better ship him a new set of strings to put on it ! :D

I'm thinking of getting a sleeve soon and if I do I'm going to try and incorporate his "bullet" inlay in there somewhere. They'll be the exact same size and dimensions as on the actual guitar and if my arm is long enough, they'll be spaced out accordingly. This is only a thought. No commitment yet.

I'm not a tattoo guy, but I'm curious how that is a bad tattoo? Are you talking about taste, and why he'd get that? Or, is it about the execution of the tat? It looks pretty detailed and symmetrical to me....aside from the lack of strings of course!

you would think that person would be a member here and, prior to all the comments, would have given some background on the tattoo. now, i would guess that person isn't going to chime in.

internet humor.

I don't see anything bad with the tattoo either. What do you call a good tattoo? I like the idea

And Dizzy welcome back from the dead :)

I'm no expert but the headstock shape looks a bit off (could be the contour of his calf) and the "Ernie Ball" doesn't look quite parallel to the "Music Man".
