I think it is odd that he is selling the bodies, but they look alright to me. The blue one even appears to have part of the original factory sticker in the bridge pickup rout.

It can't hurt to ask if the bodies are in perfect shape!

Now why he has them is another question...

They look well made, the finish on all of the routing is very neat, especially on the blue one. They've got the right number of neck screw holes as well.
Can't say for definite but they look 'real' to me.
I don't think the intrigue is so much about whether or not they're real EBMM bodies but rather where on earth did he get them from.

If they had a bridge, I'd think about buying them. I've got some Axis necks that fit.

By the time you buy all the parts separately you could have just bought something new, though.

Very strange to have one, let alone 2, especially when he says they are straight from SLO and not refinished after he bought them from someone else. Hmmmm...

Parting out guitars seems to be a pretty big trend. Some even buy new guitars and then immediately part them out, netting a profit. Maybe the trend has reached MM guitars.
