Hello,

Sorry for asking a question that most veteran forum people on here are probably sick of, but I'm new to EBMMs and looking for a little help.

I've recently been offered this 2007 Silhouette HSH as part of a trade, and since I'm not familiar with these models at all, I wanted to make sure that it's the real deal.

For starters, the serial number and build code appear to check out. I've contacted EBMM directly and asked them. The reason that I wanted to check is to make sure it appears visually accurate; I've seen other brands with legit serial numbers end up being fakes.

Also, what is a fair value for something like this?

Hi and welcome to the forum!

Do you have photos you can share with us? You're looking for the Music Man script on the back of the bridge, compensated nut (all models made after 2005but can be black or white depending on the color of the guitar), sculpted neck heel and 5-bolt neck plate, serial number on neck plate. Should also have Schaller locking tuners from the factory and DiMarzio pickups, 2 virtual PAF humbuckers and a custom wound single. As for price, you're gonna have to check Reverb and other online sources for prices of completed sales. Also use them as sources of photos to check the guitar you may buy against.

Thanks for the reply! I tried to attach pictures but apparently it must not have worked. I've tried another way and I think that it's working now if you check my first post.

And thanks for the advice on the sales price look up. I didn't think to filter for sold.

They should use this graphite and pickguard combination on the Valentine. Or even better yet, a purple/nebula color with matching pickguard in this same style. I'd buy two and I bet they'd be a massive hit.

Ask your favorite EBMM dealer to place an order for a few and see what happens ;)

Point is EBMM doesn't do custom orders from individuals, unless you're an endorsed artist that they like.
They do, or used to do sometimes, small special runs for dealers that they like.
That's why I suggested asking a dealer to request a special run of what you're looking for.
