I have to say..this has been the quietest the EBMM forum has been around a NAMM show...Sheesh..this is killer...Ice Cubes being served in all Lava Martinis in Hell...god I love MM!

Yikes still eight more days to NAAM, show hope there is a picture frenzy to hit the board at least by lunch time of opening day. The Sabre looks like another drool fest bass.

If it had one more string I would be interested, but could someone elaborate on what the "Standard Classic Collection Colors," ARE?

+1 for 5th string! :)

I believe that color chart is the same as for a Classic Stingray/Sterling series?

Keko is correct, "The Standard Classic Collection Colors" would be the colors we offer the Classic Stingray, Classic Stingray 5 and Classic Sterling. The Classic Sabre is part of that group now!

10.8 lb is a lot lighter than my pre-EB Sabre.
Judging by the grain pattern, mine was made
of northern ash, not swamp ash. Imagine an
ash baseball bat the size and shape of a MM
bass. That will give you an idea of its weight.
