Help! Issue with Volume Pot on My Music Man Luke IV – Looking for Advice

Good day, my friend. I managed to fix it, and so far, it's been working fine for about a month. Here's what I did:
First, I removed the outer nut from both the volume and tone pots, as well as the jack input screw. This allowed me to carefully take out the preamp board. Then, I slightly tightened the inner nut that secures the volume pot to the preamp board. That solved the issue.
For some reason, the volume pot doesn’t seem to make proper contact with the rest of the preamp board, and tightening the nut fixed it. This seems to be a manufacturing issue because even after replacing the preamp, the problem persisted.
Unfortunately, Music Man wasn’t able to provide the right solution. They were willing to help, but communication was difficult since I’m in another country.
So far, this fix has worked perfectly for me. If you have any questions, feel free to ask! I’ll also share an image showing exactly where I tightened the nut—it can be a bit tricky, but with the right tool, it’s an easy fix.
The good news is that you were able to fix it and have it working on your own! Nicely done!
Thankfully you did not have to Replace the 9-pin pot on the board as it is not for the faint of heart. I've repaired a bunch to date with no issue afterwords. You have to careful (and I mean careful!) to bend the end ribbon cable to form over the old solder joints. Keep an eye on it and if you do hear any crackling while adjusting the volume, chances are it is a defective V4 pot.
I've been sent several V2 versions of the same pot and they work fine once the v4 version has been replaced. I'm suspecting it was some type of manufacturing issue along the line with a batch of them that went into various models.
