Nice Bongo man, that's the way the should be - 6 strings and 2 humbuckers! I've been loving my Bongo 6, and I really can't find anything wrong with it, other than the fact that I only have one!

First time I've seen a Bongo 6ixer in that colour, and wow it does look good. Congratulations.

I am cherishing my last few days with my own Bongo 5HHP as it is going to be away from me on loan to DTG for a while, I know when it will be back (in one piece!!!) it would be like a 2nd honeymoon for me.

DTG you are going to luv it.

I always say this but Sequoia Gold is truely one of those colors that must be seen. Awesome color and the gold hardware make for a great combo. JOSH

Got to say it is a hot finish. love the fretboard and the color, I'm a little worry about the gold finish because it tends to wear, but it sure looks nice in this girl

The idea of a Bongo in sequoia gold really grew on me. Now I feel like I need one too, preferably a 4 single H. Has anybody seen one?

Bass Central has 2 up on their site - an HS and an HH. You can email them at: [email protected] to see if they are still in stock.

I can see why this is a LTD, but I really wish they would come out with something similar as a stock color.... Root Beer Mist anyone? - something like that Pre-EB Walnut finish, but with a modern touch.

Thanks Alex. I did know these, but I am located in Europe so I am pretty much limited to the used market. Noone over here stocks a limited Bongo single H and offers it for a reasonable price...

I think they US dealers are allowed ship you limited edition basses or colors that have been discontinued for more than 2 years.

I almost ordered a lined Dargie II fretless Ray from TPB before I found my used '05 LE. I checked with CS first if it was OK, and they gave the go ahead.

Shoot them an email and ask if it's OK. I'm under the impression that they wanna know about it, and approve each instrument separately.

PS: Moderators, if this is a "no-no" to discuss, feel free to delete this.

Hubba hubba, what a pretty colour...

Still, call me a heathen, but the 6 looks a little chubby. I want a 5, I think this is the sweet-spot, especially as I've stubby little fingers:(
