Just played the 6 and 7 string version of the JP12 today. It's a sick guitar. The finish looks even better in person. I still think I'm going with the JPXI-7 though.

The 6 string neck is crazy flat. I think it's even more flat than my Ibanez RG Prestige model.

I got to try one yesterday at GC. As expected, it's like butter. Pics really don't do it justice, as someone else mentioned. It's simply stunning in person. I may have to get one in 7 string configuration.
