I just found out my white fretless Bongo is still another two weeks off. I'd have probably picked that one up. I'd love to have a SC/H to replace this fretted one that goes away when the fretless finally does arrive.

Now, I don't have to get killed by the girlfriend.

And, that's not a crime. A 5 string Sp Ed Bongo for $825 is a thing of beauty.

I immediately noticed the difference on the one I have now when I first pulled it out of the box, but it didn't bother me too much. A couple of weeks more isn't too much.

Besides--I've still got this one to play with, and the longer it's here, the more likely I am to actually record some stuff with it before it goes away.
