Finally, it's here! My very first bass. As told in a thread I posted some day's ago (http://www.ernieball.com/forums/music-man-basses/31749-advice-starting-bass-player.html) I wanted to start playing bass.
Well, after thinking, checking out stuff, asking for advice etc. I made the decision too buy a Stingray. I was certain it had to be a Musicman because that's the only brand I'm confident about buying without actually seeing it first (I'm a pain in the ass buyer, I notice everything!
).
Today the UPS guy came with a package. Was it the Yves Rocher cosmetics my mom ordered? No! The box was way too big for that.
I opened it and found the legend of all electric basses!
This is my first bass. I had no prior experience with basses. I wanted to buy something good instead of going on the trail and error road I've been on with my guitars before finding my Musicman Silhouette. I'm amazed by how it's build. It's like a tank. 6 bolt neck joint, chrome control cover, fat humbucker and smooth working tuners (with even the Musicman logo on it, nice detail!). The thing that also amazed me was the EQ. It's so cool to change your sound on the guitar in so many ways! Oh and, the battery was indeed included Dargin!
I want to thank all of you guys at the forum for giving me advice and especially Sterling and the EBMM crew for making such an incredible solid instrument!
I know there's still a long road ahead in mastering this instrument, but good tools are half the work!
Ok, enough talking. Here's some pictures!
These pic's where made by the shop for me prior to sending it. I'll try to make my own pic's later on.
