Nice introduction to the bass-world!!!

....as a matter of interest, are you keeping the white pickguard, or swapping it to a more contrasting colour??

Thanks guys! :)

@BrandonS: Lovely Stingray you have there!

Haha, good question. To be honest, before buying the bass, I was already thinking of changing the pickguard to black. I somehow like the black guard on white body look very much! (And also the fact that it's visible from miles away that it is a Musicman bass because of the pickguard shape ;) )

Jeez, yeah, no sense screwing around with cheap basses!

Very nice first bass, sir

+1, sir (sorry, watching Kevin Smith last night:D)..

Why buy a crappy Squire for $300 then sell it for $150... then buy a $400 Ibanez then sell it for $200... then buy a Fender MIM for $500 then sell it for $250... then buy a Fender CIJ for $800 then sell it for $500... then buy a Dean, Schecter, BC Rich or whatever else before ultimately buying a EBMM?:D

You just saved about $1000 buy buying a great bass right out of the gate.:)

Enjoy it, it looks great...

That is a very nice bass. The only problem with buying a Stingray is that you can't use it as an excuse. You know the one " I could play better if my bass didn't suck."

Now its up to you to play well. :p

Congrats man, i had played for nearly 6 years [hey-i'm only 21] before i got my first MM.

Like the others have said-you have bypassed a lot of experiments. Even though i've got 5 fretted basses, the one that gets the most play is my Ray5.

Well Done, ReB87.

All I can add is heed Psycho's words. Pay no attention to his pictures, just look at his sig. ;)
