On April 4th, I ordered a Black Cherry burst stingray 4 HH, and have been counting the days till it comes in, which should be real soon (I hope). So obviously, I'm excited to get it in, and I talk about how great sounding the EBMM Stingray tone is to my guitarist, who is also my brother, all the time. I've always used Spectors, and a few Fenders, but after playing that HH, I was blown away! So, my guitarist/brother starts looking into EBMM to see if they are as good as I make them out, or if I'm full of BS. Earlier this week, we walked into a little ol' store called Ye Ol Music shop here in Charleston that we frequent often to get our gear needs taken care of, and whats on the wall, a EBMM JP6 BFR, and in the color he wants. Needless to say he plays it, loves, and now is going to go reserve it today and buy it this week after he gets the $$ from selling his beloved PRS that he sold yesterday. So now, I have to sit at band practice, and watch him play his EBMM while I wait for mine to arrive. It's just like adding insult to injury lol. I am definitely looking forward to hearing what the mix will sound like when we're playing both instruments, I just think it sucks that he gets his first lol. Anybody else in here play with guitarists that use EBMM?

Well we just got back from eating at Hooters and going to the music store. He gave it a final test run though a Mesa Mark IV and a Mesa Triple Rectifier. He uses the Duel Rectifier, so it was as close as we could get it to sounding like his rig. The guitar sounds amazing, the piezo system is awesome on it, and the see through black color is beautiful. He put the down payment on it to have the guy hold it until Wednesday, so he'll definitely have his before mine now lol. We went to GC as well so I could get a new strap. I played the only HH stingray they hadand it's honestly a shame how they treat their instruments sometimes. The battery was completely dead, and the pickguard was scratched through the protective film. I started to look at the regular stingrays, and they we're pretty scratched up as well, so I just got my strap and headed home. You would think with a bass of that quality, that would hang them up out of reach of all the kids who just beat them up.

I play with an EBMM artist, Daniele Gregolin, and I love the sound he gets out of his guitars that also look awsome...

I'm married to someone who plays an EB guitar - he plays an Albert Lee - also with piezo like your brother's Pet.

The AL and my Sterling sound fantastic together in the mix - sometimes you hear music and you think that "oh the bass could be a bit better" or "I don't quite like the tone of that guitar"... none of that here :D

Nice! Our second guitarist has just informed us that he might be getting an Axis. He must have caught the fever too lol.

Looks like I'm a lucky guy playing with two guitarist with EBMM axes. One guy has an EVH (which he plays rarely - too bad) and the other one has another EVH and two JP6 BFR. Muahahahaaa! :D
I guess we're the band with the most EBMM instruments in Switzerland (a total of seven, 2x EVH, 2x JP6 BFR and 3x SR5).

 gotta see you at a show... what's the band's name?

Chervilled
But we actually don't play any shows. Our first CD is in the final mix phase. And one guitarist and me have been to L.A. for three months. So nobody organised any gigs...
BTW: GC is pretty cheap compared to Swiss music stores. We actually have four more EBMM's than we had four months ago. :D
