I've been on a "pleasure cruise" trying all these different EBMM configurations this past year. Even caught bongo fever on the way back. at the end of it all nothing does it for me like my SR5. just a phenomenal bass.

I love my SR5.

Ive neglected it for the past couple weeks in favor of my Sterling and P-Bass, but played it all weekend and was reminded what an AMAZING bass it is.

Theres a good reason its been my number one for almost 3 years.

SR5s are pretty much the most comfortable 5 strings out there. Sure there are plenty of 5ers with faster necks, but with the sr5, the switch up to a 5 or back to a 4 feels natural. I remember playing ibanez 5 strings... really fast necks you have to get used to them... then you switch back to a 4 string and your kind of caught tangling the strings... Same thing with warwicks... but these are too wide... you get lost switching back and forth... not the case with the rays.... the only 5er ive seen that comes close are modern v shpaed fenders...
