IvanMihaljevic and John Denner

stopped in at DuBaldo Music Center and Beller's today. Ivan is here in the US for a bit working with John on his CD and they decided to take a quick drive to come visit. I got a copy of Ivan's CD and there is some great playing on it, along with a tasty cameo solo from John Denner! Ivan checked out some of the BFRs through a Soldano while I messed around with John's new Axis. After stopping in here they they went down the street to visit Nick at the Beller's store and try out the Koa JP and a Powerball.

And Pete is a really nice guy too, I'm glad I got a chance to meet him!

I'm going back home to Croatia on Thursday. Haven't been home for a month now, first the tour through Germany and Switzerland with Hard Time and right after that CD recording in the States with John
but I had a great time during both, so it's worth it!

As you know already from this post Ivan Mihaljevic is visiting the states to work with me on my new CD..

So after a very long day in the studio I asked Ivan what he would most like to do with a day off in America for the 1st time?

His answer was

I'd love to, but I can't make it financially at this point...

Well, I can tell you they're both fantastic guitars. If I wanted to compare them I'd have to spend a little more time with a BFR and compare them side by side

I'm going to post this screen capture as a teaser....

Ivan joined Yellow 9 as a special guest on Thanksgiving Eve, and added some great leads and flavor for a song. He and I traded a few solos, while John Denner and Nick DuBaldo both shot video. Hopefully the footage is usable; it's off being edited now!

Ivan, thanks for joining us! Hopefully you had a safe flight home the next morning. The guys and I had a pleasure jamming with you and we are all looking forward to your next visit - we will have to jam again!
