I imagine there's numerous happy endings each week at the EB plant, and likely a few who refuse to be satisfied. People sometimes put something they love into an unrealistic category; like guitars. I mean, realistically, it's only wood, metal and paint. Even if you do attain perfection, wood can still do weird things over time, and metal objects wear and/or break. Not to mention the bridges and saddles, which require degaussing from time to time, and pickups which need a good topping off.

Wow, when this thread started two days ago I was pretty sure it would end up with the usual insults and accusations flying all over the place... It's good to see that both parties were able to come to a reasonable agreement.

Kudos to EBMM for their great CS and to Metro for changing to a positive attitude.

its great to know that if i ever have any problems with my balls, i know it will not be a problem for long! I'm actually looking forward to dealing with customer service with a guitar issue!
