Axis via vox wah into Cornford Hurricane. Rich, sweet,yummy...damn expensive but theres no denying my taste!!!

The Cornford is sooo good, the clean and reverb is the best I've heard, and the distortion...oh yes! No channel switching antics as its a vintage style amp so have to work it...but well worth it!

My Axis sounds so good through this...love, love, gush, gush!!!

Marshall hits ebay! ;)

Cornford is a British company that makes high end tone machines. I have a pal here with a Harlequin and it is amazing - very nice smooth even tones, both clean and dirty.
They have a very cool website with lots of sound clips.

Cornford is a new-ish and currently very small manufacturer of hand made valve amps in the UK. Everything is done the old way, all hand wired, no PCB's, finest quality materials.

They already have a few star players to their name including a certain Joe Satriani who has used them in the studio (when he's not using his new Peavey JSX that is!).

Check out their website at www.cornfordamps.com which has info plus sound samples and also see the reviews on harmony central. The Hurricane is one of the few amps on H.C.'s database with a straight 10 out of 10 for sound! I'll be adding my own review once I've had more chance to get to know it!

I think one of the british magazines has a columnist who uses MM's through Cornfords.

Sounds like a good combo.

Anyone else planning amp purchases soon? I'm considering an Allen...
