I had the same experience-- walked in to my local GC, just for fun, played a Stingray5 bought it cause it sounded so good, and it's totally taken over as my #1 bass. Welcome! ...and wait till you get to GIG with it. That's when it will really shine. Perfect mix of bottom, growl, and cut!

first off hello everyone.
i've been playing warwicks (i appologise for the foul language)for the last couple of years, when last saturday i called into my local sound control store.
hanging on the wall was a gorgeous 4 string Stingray,trans' red,black pickguard,maple neck & i just had to have a play on it & 2 hours later i walked out of the store with the best damn bass i ever played (being playing 27 years).
what the hell's been wrong with me?
why have i never tried one of these before?
am i stupid or something?

anyway needless to say the warwi*k went on ebay & is now someone else'e problem
& i have got a propper bass at last,infact it feels like it was made just for me
rock on.
