I wasn't even there and that footage gives me a grin from ear-to-ear.

Congrats again Jack.

Thank you, Pete, for sharing that event.

Did you have any idea that you were gonna get that Bongo Jack?

Oh hell no. Who would figure on a bass like THAT?

That is a great sounding Bongo and a rather fabulous rig, but - I'm not kissing up here, either - Sterling makes just about everything sound good.

Sometimes I think about posting a thank-you note to all the Bongo Naysayers over at TB and the Dudepit.

Without whom none of this would have been possible, natch.

I would say do it, but that would violate the commercial user policy...

Or, "Where's my friking Bongo sales, Monkey Boy?"

Well maybe. I don't know what could be in Chicago! Certainly not Dargin, who I'm sure has been nailed to his tee-vee box watching the Angles battle the New York Yankees, I am told.

Nah, I ordered a new Bongo last week and that is Dargin's standard response to "Is my bass ready yet?"

Actually, there are two standard Dargin answers:

1. You ordered a bass?
2. February.

I retaliate by claiming that I can't remember what I ordered, either a Precision or a Jazz.

I loves me some Dargin.
