Just checked these videos. Stirling, what a nice guy you are! Great basses, great playing and now I've got GAS for the 30th....!

In the UK we had the best bands but maybe didn't make the best basses!

Damn, i totally wanted to go to that show in london but i was at download.... nevermind! there's always next year! tbh i don't think i'll ever be back at download.

Oh and another thing about the International Music Show...

Every single MM bass I played had all its controls completely maxed out. I plugged in the HH bongo and ...JESUS! I don't understand - people were putting the basses back on the wall saying 'that is a good sounding bass', when in reality it sounded, well, bad. Some very nasty clipping happening there. So I went round putting the EQs flat.

Good thing you did... last week on a jam night I handed my Lava Pearl SR4 HS over to a local musician, and the first thing he did was to dime all the controls... I let him pluck a couple of notes and it sounded awful, so I went back to the stage, put all the EQ controls back to center, and explained the controls to the guy. After that, I fully enjoyed seeing and hearing my bass in a live setting :)
