Hi Guys.. Ive just finished a run of festival dates in Europe including Rockavaria at the Olympic Stadium in Munich Germany, and Hellfest in France. I've been performing on a new project called Gutterdammerung, which is a black and white movie with it's sound track performed by a live rock band. The movie stars Iggy Pop, Lemmy, Henry Rollins, Mark Lanegan, Tom Araya, Josh Homme, and Grace Jones to name a few. Henry Rollins has been on the tour with us performing his parts live, which has been amazing. The shows have been lots of fun, and we've been joined by Rammstein's pyro guys, so its been visually explosive!! For the tour I've been using the following guitars;
1; Axis tribute, standard tuning
2; Axis, Eb tuning
3 Axis Super Sport, drop A# tuning
4; Armada, standard tuning
5; Cutlass, standard tuning
I'm now working with Mesa Boogie, and for this tour run I used a Boogie Mark V head, although I've just swapped over to a JP-2C. I was running the Boogie with a custom built rack, built by Nigel Knight of Knight Audio Technologies; he builds for Brian May, and designs and produces Brian's treble boosters. The rack is based around a Voodoo Lab GXC system, with various stomp boxes, plus a Line 6 Echo Pro, Line 6 Mod Pro, MXR Smart Gate rack unit, Dunlop rack wah, and two Line 6 G90 wireless systems; I use two as my Super Sports have piezo.
