I can't wait to try out the new body. I really loved my Axis SS...but for me personally the body was uncomfortable for extended play. This is like a dream come true!!!!

What's that old saying? "Don't knock it before you try it"?

I had a chance to check out the blurb that was written for the new 25th Anniversary guitar. "Form and function first", was in there somewhere.

May I be allowed to remind all of you how special this event is? Not only are we celebrating 25 years of Ernie Ball and Music Man marriage, we are showing how we can "step out of the box", propel ourselves and our beloved customers into the future and offer a new innovative tool for musicians. The chambering and how it was done by our team of engineers on such a short demand blows me away, and I for one am DYING to see it in person, feel the contours on the back and HEAR that thing sing!

Great job, team!

Very nice and a great job to all those involved with the 25th. I actually love all the new things done. Just took something that was great and made it even better in my opinion. Hopefully with my new job...I can pick up one of these bad boys! Thanks Pops for showing us and keeping us guessing and what not.

Okay Poppa, you've had the new Axis on your side long enough....time to ship it to the Eastern US testing facility...
DO you need that address again?

I love it...I LOVE IT and No, I haven't played it yet...but I know I love it.

BP, I think you need to send one of these to the East Coast and let me beta test it. I usually charge guitar companies high dollar for this, but I'll make an exception.

...this was a chance to do the Axis over and we made all the changes we wanted

we must think alike! I've always thought, if there were any changes to my EVH and Axis SS, they'd be:

1 - slightly larger body - check!
2 - hollow/semi-hollow - check!
3 - slight right arm contour - check!
4 - controls that angled downward, instead of straight back - check!
5 - sliiiiightly wider neck/fretboard - che........wait. what? haha.

You guys have outdone yourselves. Can't wait!

The 25th looks simply amazing. I like the shape, contouring and the color, and the effect of the toneblock and the chambering will be really interesting to hear.

With a maple neck and either a hardtail or vintage trem I'm very tempted indeed. All we need is the pricing following NAMM. :)

Also I just realised that in 2009 it will be exactly 25 years since I first started playing guitar. Hmmm...the planets are starting to align...:D

Am I the only one to notice how cool BP's shirt is? Sheesh, I've been sorting out fashion shoots all week and this is the result!!Haha!!

25th Anniversary looks amazing!! Im not sure if this has been covered, but will there be a Piezo option? I would ask if there is a colour choice but I couldn't imagine a more perfect colour choice than already shown.

Absolutely LOVE the changes to the Axis for the 25th Anniversary!!!

BP - Are you willing to share any more info on the pickups and neck? Are the pups the 20th Anniv. Silo pups? Is the neck the standard Axis neck? Regardless, the guitar sounds phenomenal! Great work EBMM team!

BIg Tony...It's English Laundry...Im having fun with the weight loss

I wasn't going to say anything until you mentioned it, but damn boy, you lost some weight! You look great BP! This really helps motivate me to shed a few pounds. Every since starting my new job (desk) I've started to pack on a few extra. Too bad you can't loose weight from practicing guitar.
