OK So in trying to develop new instruments that celebrate our milestone of actually surviving 25 years of making musical instruments in USA...(just think 25 years.....I am going to give us carpel tunnel and shout out joy and pride. It puts us in rare air. Thank you our loyal customers for the support and faith.)

Lets see Reagan was president then bush bush clinton clinton bush bush obama.......

So on the guitar we are going to use the Axis as our starting point. One because we just did the silo 20th 5 years ago and the axis is our all time best seller. In keeping with the philosophy of an anniversary model incorporating elements from the beginning middle to today here it is......

YOu can see that it is a modified Axis body. OUr first point was to make it slightly bigger to answer the people who would like a bigger guitar.

here is the first raw body

Here is the first assembled one. Note that the neck is a standard one and the actuall one will be like the cad rendering...more in scale with the guitar.

Here is a frontal body shot...(nudity)

Now here is the fun stuff that makes this a great ergonomic beauty...Understand that the design and engineering to accomplish is so much more than meets the eye......the top is like an axis but has a fall away top contour for the right arm of 3/8" similar to the 20th anniversary but not as steep.....subtle is the key word once again

when integrated with the standard axis back contour it is really delightful

by the way I did use the word delightful......

the treble side allows for a little easier access to the top frets

Here is the top view of the upper body

top perspective with the subtle contour it gives off an almost carved look

Very cool, so I take it the pictures are of a solid body?

Engineering congrats on what you have so far, looks really good.

What the extra toggle switch do?

WOW, very interesting indeed. One of my pet peeves with the axis was the lack of arm contour....................................could a sealed neck be an option?

BP, I think you and your people have been reading my mind regarding the body contours of the Axis and the improvements that you've just made. Awesome. Can't wait to see a final version.

WOW!!!! Exciting!!!!
Thanks for sharing!

I hope it has pickups as shown in the first pic.

So beyond being "25th Anniversary", will this guitar have a different name???

BP, you guys are nuts.

this thing looks amazing!! almost enough to make a fatty play a skinny stringed thing :D

amazing subtle details that although 'appear' subtle make huuuuuuge differences.

amazing guit-fiddle for sure!

I'm really liking the control layout on this badboy as well. I'm curious about the neck shape and if it will continue to be like the axis.
Is the one shown a piezo model?

Looks Great and thank you for sharing!
