Whether it's a natural earth cycle we're going through, a brown dwarf star entering our galaxy creating magnetic anomalies, or it's us contributing to the warming of the planet, either way:

Isostasy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Geophysicist Allen Glazner of the University of North Carolina recently commented that “It’s unavoidable that glacial retreat will induce tectonic activity. He goes on to say, “Recent findings reinforce the idea that the solid earth and the climate are inextricably linked.” As glaciers melt, it upsets the balance in the Earth’s crust and mantle; because weight shifts from the land where the glaciers were, down into the oceans as the melted ice runs off. As a result, there is less weight on the land, and more weight in the oceans. This will create what geologists call an “isostatic rebound”.

Why are fish dying by the millions in our waters and thousands of birds dropping from our sky's all over the globe recently...this could be result from the HAARP, the catastrophic gulf oil spill last year...it is concerning whether it's these aforementioned issues or something else? Just a valid concern:

I am not going to go into theories of why things are happening, but watcing the news all day this is a disaster of extraordinary magnitude. I have never seen cars and trucks by the hundreds being pushed and washed away like they were Match Box toy vehicles. My heart and prayers go out but I think the loss of life is going to be devastating.

+1 my heart goes out to the people of Japan.

Had family experience the New Zealand quake the other week and they were VERY lucky. 2 minutes earlier the building they were in collapsed!!

Just terrible. I wish I could actually go there and help in some way.

There was another 6.4 aftershock just a half hour ago near the damaged Nuclear plant. That has me worried as well.

Very sad news, but I still don't understand how people can build nuclear plants in region where there is a very high seismic risk.

That day was a sad day indeed. I watched all live-feeds pretty much all day long.
I still haven't reached my friend who had moved there to study. Worried like hell :(

Praying for your friend- i've heard that there's still a large portion that doesn't have cell coverage or land lines... dont give up hope.

It is Hilo, Japan!
I thank all of you & Mr.ScreaminFloyd
Four days passed since a major earthquake.
Tokyo where I lived in shook very hard.
My and my family is safe.
My guitars are safe, too!
But the disaster area catches the serious damage.
Everybody does best!
The revival of the town will take time.
We do not lose
I thank for support and the love of you beyond the border.
