For this particular model, is there a way to configure the pickup height?

I am seeing online that they are not adjustable but wondering if that’s truly the case or if there is a workaround.
 
The pickups are mounted directly to the body. Mine had a mm or so of space to adjust downward. There may be a thin piece of foam between the pickup and body that could be removed to provide a little more room. Otherwise, you'll need to raise the bridge a bit to get the spacing you’re looking for.
