Jeff Beck accidentlty cuts of his finger!

In what can only be described as a freak accident, all time great Jeff Beck cut the tip of his left hand index finger completely off while cutting carrots for a stew he was making.

Thank God it is the year 2010 as doctors were able to reatach it. He also now has insured each one of his fingers for 700,000 pounds. Here is a link to the whole story

If you read it fully, it says that he has now insured each of his fingers for 1 million pounds I would hate to lose any!

Sucks that it happened, but he should be more careful while making dinner.

That's funny, when I first read this thread I thought of Iommi too.

JB will just need to play more power chords and less solos JB can play better just using two fingers than most players with 5

Ah Brother Jeff....we must meet up and compare stumps...he only lives 10 miles away. Was just tucking into Carrot and Coriander soup when I read this . I wish I'd had my fingers insured for £7million ! By the way, I should be picking up my new silicone finger in 3 weeks, can't wait.

I just want to apologize for that statement, I didn't realize it sounded that harsh when I wrote it. I hope that his recovery is a fast and successful! Get well soon Jeff!

What a tragic thing for a guitarist to have happen, like Tony Iommi and Django Reinhardt. I hope he can return to playing in his own inimitable fashion, certainly one of the few true legends of rock guitar.
