I always heard they made John a lefty EVH, but now we have proof. I would assume there may be a few other lefty EVH's made as that would be a lot of retooling for a one off. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for responding BP.

I've never met JMac, though I have in the past played and worked with other tennis legends on court. Seems like a lot tennis players are into playing the 6 string. Must be cause we're used to using things with strings in them I guess!

nice find! yeah the big story back in the day was that Eddie gave John guitar lessons and john gave Eddie tennis lessons. I have an old magazine ad in which Eddie and john are both playing air guitar with tennis rackets. It's for another guitar company of course.

He has been playing for ages and has some killer collection of very rare axes. Plus he is married to Patty Smyth the ex lead singer of Scandal who believe it or not was Ed's first choice as Roth's replacement in Vanhalen- She turned them down lol.

nice I love Rush! I'd love to see Alex with an Axis. Actually Alex played a sunburst axis in his practice room for the south America dates a few years back. It's documented in the DVD "Rush in Rio". BP go get Big Al !
