That's a shame. I hope he busts some out when I see him in December! I'm excited to see him live.

I should also mention that he has gone from a 4 amp rig to a 6 amp rig (I think) with 3 cabs!

I gave Joe trouble! I said "Is gibson pushing you around?" He said that his problem is that he has rigs all over the world now to save on freight...I said that I could fix that and make more!

I saw him at the Beacon Theater last wknd (phenomenal show, filmed for DVD). And it was the same situation. Played only the BFR trans black (stunning axe). Every time I see him play, he has new guitars.:D

Thanks for adding that BP, I was confused when he played a gibson double neck rather than the ball. The good news is the Morse sounded phenomenal and looked great! He played it on django / mountain time instead of the 25th anniversary model.

You are on the money Sterling, as it seems like Gibson is trying to counter ever Ball you send him with one of theirs. All of a sudden they give him two double necks and a 3 humbucker Firebird. On the first BCC album in an interview he said he basically used two guitars, his sig Lester and the Dark Lord. As he stated the EB fit that style better. It seems now that Gibson is trying everything they can to get him to cut back his time with an EBMM ax in hand. I am a big Bonamassa fan and he is a hell of a player and nice guy, but I get the feeling he is getting pressured from camp Henry.

Nice answer Sterling as I truly can't say I understand endorsement politicing on the highest level. But there was a pretty long stretch of Joe plastered all over neutral and his own forum, with all those great guitars you guys built for him that had everyone oohing and awing. To be honest they were stealing the thunder. I think it is cool that Gibson and yourself have a friendly relation, but since we are on our own forum I will just spill it out lol. It seems like they are trying to match what you guys are creating, though I think we all can't wait to see what insane ax you guys are cooking up for him next.

Nothing wrong with some friendly competition to drive the quality up IMHO.
