When my wife and I saw the Eagles back in 2010 one of Joe's various guitars was a Silo that appeared to have a Tele-style bridge on it that he was using for "Hotel California". That's a possibility. He also had a couple of custom-built HH Strats, so I suppose the HH would be another option. We weren't all that close to the stage, but we were close to the video screen on Joe's side so we saw a lot of what he was using.
Congrats to him if he lands a signature model. But isn't a signature model supposed to reflect the artists favorite specs, mixed with a little brand loyalty? Seems like I've seen him endorse lots of guitars with a broad range of sounds and configurations. I can't keep up with all that!
Yes I''ve seen him endorse Carvins and I think he had a Jeff Beck Strat at the Live From Daryl's House show. But maybe the EBMM one is the definite Joe Walsh guitar.
Joe is playing a cutlass...with the eagles he uses music man guitars more than any other brand. He has played a petrucci for the national anthem at the lakers....his birthday shot last year was with an armada....90% of our stuff joe buys at guitar stores.
That's cool. I dig the vibe of both the Cutlass and the Stingray. Looking forward to seeing more on both - they're catching my attention for the next guitar buy... save those shekels!
Ahhhhhhhh (reminisce) saw him in Sophia Gardens, Cardiff in the James Gang 1970 when they were supporting The Who.
I went straight out and got The Vinyl - James Gang Rides Again- still have it - still play it.
I bleeb one of my few video demos on the 6165 pedal sees me breaking into Funk #49.
I've been scarred for life one of the artists I really really really admire.
This is great news ...... and those are some facts quoted by BP.
