Looks almost like a 25th Anniversary Guitar with a BFR inlay at the 12th fret.

is that a black Reflex??

There's another video in a thread on this particular song with a good close-up shot of it. It's a 25th Anniversary with a BFR inlay at the 12th fret.

It's the original red 25th they sent to him. He wanted a black one. So, EBMM made him 6. He liked the red one better. So, Dudley refinished it.

sad??????? we now have the biggest guitar star of this new generation playing one of our guitars.....

I know, it's great. I'm a big JM fan, so happy he's playing it live... and beggars can't be choosers... just sad the quilt/flame is gone :)

Great to see him using a 25th live- it's a shame I can't hear it as my laptop speakers won't work. He truly is a brilliant guitarist- even though I don't really like his music! Just goes to show it doesn't matter what music you play-real talent will shine through.

It's a shame he uses one of those headset mics- they just make me think "tele-sales" as opposes to "rock star". I dunno- maybe I'm old fashioned.

I actually saw Mick Jagger use a head set mic at the Isle of Wight festival- he was flapping his arms about like a mad man. Very unpleasant.

The songwriting/composition on Continuum would probably win you over, its really classy.

As for the headset mic, someone on another thread said JM only used it on this particular song and not for the rest of the show.

I think the biggest attraction for artists using MM is they can't really be compared to anyone. When an Artist plays a Strat and has a bluesy style that often get compared to say SRV etc. When playing a MM the critics can't compare them as being a clone. Of course I'm generalizing here but I can see the appeal in Artists using MM to get away from the Strat/LP stigma that sometimes occurs.

in Hell... with cows...
i think this went unnoticed: killer song!
even tho my collection is 99% metal, JMs songs (like bonamassa and a select few others) are worthy of the few ear breaks i take.

IMHO, i think we have a deep programmed rancoeur against anyone who succeeds in a seemingly easy manner.
