Yeah but most of Battle Studies was our guitar. we had high hopes and kept our fingers crossed that it would translate to the live set but it didnt. I appreciate the opportunity to work with John and any exposure is good. I cant lie we were hoping that this would be a break. it was a mini break. I was in the studio twice and rehearsals once, I dont do that for anyone anymore. I even brought smoked Tri Tip to the sessions I couldnt tell you guys about it because of the politics involved

I was going to buy an axis, but I read this article and heard John's rave reviews on the 25 and saw him play one on "Assassins" and this Dylan cover. I then searched and found one in Brisbane and bought it, spending a lot more money in the process. So yes... the exposure was good :)

I have been playing for over 20years and have played every guitar you might think of, and the 25 wins hands down.

Keep up the good work guys

So YOU'RE the guy that bought that. Well done dude!

And yeah, I wasn't saying before by correcting that poster any sort of opinion between fender and ebmm (cause we all know where my allegiances lie). I can't wait to get my new reflex and use it in our new show.

Damn. I missed out on trying the reflex in hong kong recently. Wish I had the time. Coming from the jpx7's perspective, the reflex just might be the 6 string version I'd love!

I got a bit confused by that article actually - this quote in particular: "But [The Black One] just struck. All of a sudden this guitar started doin' it..."

I think John plays the black 25th. The one in the video above is a 25th I believe (see headstock).

Funny how one guitar will sound awesome and the next meh......

When Lincoln Brewster joined Steve Perry's band after Steve left Journey Lincoln had 3 EBMM guitars made, all in sea foam green. I think they were Silos.

When the person he was dealing with at EBMM asked him why he wanted all 3 the same color, Lincoln said, "So the one that sounds best will be sea foam green):D

True story

How on earth can you guys hear the guitar over the screaming girls? I sure can't!

I could definately hear it was a chambered humbucking guitar. I didn't know it was the 25th until I posted it on the forum sometime back, and I suspected it was. It sounds to me like the 25th successfully bridged the tone/feel gap between a Strat and a Les Paul, a hybrid that many other guitars in the past have tried to be, but failed. Apparently the 25th/Reflex does it all, and more.

I really want to try one out!!! Could it just be the 22 fretted HH EBMM guitar I have always wanted? The Axis/ASS didn't really do it for me, though I loved the look. The neck didn't feel comfortable to me. I much preferred the Silo neck.

Damn... I really don't need another guitar...
