ive never really connected with his playing, but he is a great player. knows his stuff for sure.

however, his tune on the EC Crossroads dvd could be the worst music i have ever heard.

I saw Remember Shakti at this giant church on Harvard campus about 2 years ago. I had stage seats so, I was sitting about 3 feet from him and zakir hussen (if you don't know who zakir is you are missin' out...Imagine Jack Dejohnette and Billy Cobham rolled up into one Tabla player). It was one of the most insane things I've ever heard/seen/experienced. For a little while, I think the stage was floating in the air and spinning around. It was BADASS.
