New Bongo?
My best guess would be that they would introduce a JM signature model. I mean, he is giving input on what HE needs and not everyone is going to necessarily have those same needs. I'm guessing JM signature Bongo - smaller runs with slightly higher pricing - and possibly a bit of eye candy added to the bass that is unavailable on standard production models.

Maybe what he is saying is that it will have the "Game Changer" feature built into it!

Edit: OK. read the article. It is different dimensions on the body and neck. Maybe it will be an option like color, pickups and number of strings are.

Alternate neck dimensions / string spacing options is exactly what I would love to get for the Big Al 4. If there was one thing I would change with it, it would be a wider, beefier neck.

That's an idea: a SLO neck available on the Big Al/Sterling (to make them wider)! Cool interview, I'm curious to see his bongo ideas. Is that a particularly different finish on that one, or just light reflecting?
