Wow, thats def. a dream come true to see Myung playing Bongo's. Damn, thats so kick ass. I'd love to see him use that Egyptian Smoke 5HH on stage. Can't wait to see em live, hopefully camera's are allowed in.

Hmm... looks like an HS setup... probably 5 strings if they played Home and As I Am.

It's about time. Myung is a big influence on me, and I really got interested in this company when I first heard WDADU and found out what he played on. I can't wait for him to switch to the 6 string (can't say I'll follow him, I didn't like that road when I took it) and show off what he can do with it.

Hopefully he'll stick to the HS setup. I really like that sound.

While I find it a bit odd for someone's dream to be someone ELSE playing a Bongo, it is nice to see another high profile player join the roster of Bongo users. It can only help further mass acceptance of the instrument.

Cmon Bassmonkee a little high horsie there

I am really happy that he has chosen our stuff. I still have only talked to him one time aver a year ago. IT was brought to my attention that he was severing ties and wnated to try a bunch of stuff. There were no promises or guarantees on either side, so I lke the outcome. It isnt based on money or BS..it seems to be what he wants to play.

Bassmonkee, I already play Bongo's so my dream has already come true, LOL, but what I meant was that I always thought it would be awesome if John Myung started playing Musicman, and now he has, so thats why I said its a dream come true, but maybe I just phrased it a bit wrong. LOL.

Well, truth be told, I meant it kinda as a joke, but upon re-reading my post, it didn't come off that way, at all.

It was obvious hyperbole (no one sits around wishing for someone else to play a bass, do they?), and that was why I found it amusing. I pictured Miss America saying, "My dream is that one day John Myung will play a Bongo live....oh, and, um.....you know--world peace."

You phrased nothing wrong. I just need to go back and re-read posts if I am typing them before enough cc's of caffeine are coursing through my bloodstream.

Looks like Ruby to me...

I really hope JM would play the Bongo 6, I had a feeling this will be the outcome since the vidoes of him playing MMs in the studio.
