I'm happy. really happy! knowing that the bass player living legend john myung has joined EBMM. but i'm still curious. what makes him choose EBMM while he knows that at that very time there is not yet available the 6S type. i also long to know when he will transform officially and completely. becouse until a couple days ago i still saw his name in yamaha bassist roster. thx! :)

These are some of the first pictures of completed Bongo 6 basses that EBMM has shown us on this forum.

When I saw them last month, there was not a Yama-haha anywhere close, except maybe parked on the street :D and I can guarantee it wasn't Myungs. Nothing but Bongos

It is called the Bongo 6. Mystic Dream, Dargie Delight and such are names of finishes used for very specific instruments (in this case, the original JP's and the very limited run Dargie Delight instruments, respectively). There are no signature model basses. The silver used on JM's basses is a flat silver that's a custom finish. No word on if this color will be available when the Bongo 6 is released (some time around NAMM).

Jordan Rudess: ooo! That note? What is it??? Is it the miracle? The Sleeper?

John Petrucci: Hang on hang on... It's just my hair stuck in them strings...

Mike Portnoy: Whaaaaat? I can't hear anything!!! My cymbals are too loud!

John Myung: ...

My fav:
James Labrie: "Betcha can't play faster... Betcha can't play faster... Betcha can't play faster..."

JM profile

as a fan of bongo and the players; dave larue, tony levin, and john myung, i wonder why JM's profile isn't listed at the roster of EBMM artist.
