Hey, Just saw Jonh is at the HOB in Vegas 3/7.

Cool Tip -- request a NORTH facing hotel room at the Mandalay Bay above the 20th floor.
You look north down the entire strip, one of the coolest views around. The MB is home to HOB and on southern end of strip.

Business Travel next week is preventing me from attending the show in Phoenix. However, business travel may allow me to attend the clinic in SLC!

I'm going to work on doing another JP one, Franc, but it really comes down to a scheduling issue. :) And I can't believe how much those guys have been touring lately. It's been a brutal schedule, even by their standards. I can only imagine he'd want some time off, so we'll see how it goes.


On the plus side, I've been talking to quite a number of other artists who want to come out this year. But nobody wanted to do anything during the winter. But come summer, I think we'll have some fun stuff going on. :) Hope to see you there sometime!

I will be doing the clinic with JP at Wild West. He is forcing me to play with him. But we will both be talking a bunch about guitars and whatever. I guess I am opening for John.

i will also be at the Las Vegas DT house of blues gig.

As much as John is excited to have you at the show in Vegas...if you said you couldn't make it because you had to practice for the clinic the next day, I'm sure he'd understand.

What are the odds of you ever showing up in the midwest at such a clinic? Or maybe you will take over the company Scions for a while and I can hang out with you at my local retailer?
 
Clinic at Wild West Guitars

I attended the clinic last night at Wild West Guitars along with my two sons. We were both completely blown away by both John Petrucci and Big Poppa's work and presentation. Following that I decided to join this forum.

Love the MM guitars. We own four, three Petruccis (one seven string) and one Steve Morse. Thanks for sending written instructions for the Morse.

Now learning to play them.
