In all honesty I do not know why more well known players are using Silhouettes. Of all the guitars I played at NAMM last year, nothing feels as right to me as a EBMM Silhouette, Silo Special, 20th Anniversary... whatever. Best guitars ever!

This is great news! Johnny is an incredibly gifted player and I just love the fact he's with EBMM now.

Welcome aboard, Johnny Hiland!

I like the fact that he will be endorsing a stock model and especially this one, since it was the model that started it all!

Welcome aboard, Johnny!

Hey BP, back in the day, of all the genres of music, did you really expect to have two of the best "country" pickers as endorsers?

That's great news, BP!

I think now I'm going to officially steal the Silhouette from my wife since she never plays it...

As for the question of what I envisioned...I didnt I was in real time with Dudley and we were just creating and trying to get orders.....In this business you have many close calls...hits and misses. You think you have a relationship and you work you butt off whle hearthrob big time artist makes new record and hope that what they tell you halfway happens and then the record comes out and you see his live show and you are nowhere to be found. Please dont name names....Or losing Keith Richards because of the tech...So when you get an opportunity to add Johnny Hiland to your team and family it is a sweet reward.

Hey, u talkin to me? NY
JH is an awesome addition to the family, congrats BP!

Did JH actually try out all of the EBMM models and then selected the Silo as his #1? Just curious on how and why he picked the Silo (I'm thinking that the multiple pickup options and the neck made the difference)?
