I have an awesome video (> 30 minutes) from Musikmesse 2006 in Frankfurt where Johnny was performing. Although he played a PRS at this time, he still sounded great. Maybe I can fish out this ... gimme a couple of hours.

@BIGPOPPA: Are there any plans of releasing a Johnny Hiland signature guitar? Since his model has some unique alterations it would be nice to see his model being added to the family (although the guitar might not be everyone's taste - but which one is?).

I remember an old video of him and another player having an improvised jam at a Guitar Center (or similar shop). It was cool. It's the kind of stuff you never hear at a GC......usually it's just young metal heads trying to play something......aka getting their noise on.

Nice find Rob and also a very nice instrumental by Johnny, I can remember when he first hit the scene and was talking about his style so I always watch his fingers. But it is true that he basically plays with only three fingers, you rarely see guys with technique like that who do not use their pinkie a lot. Sterling had made it clear when he first came over to EB that their would be no Johnny Hiland sig, and that he just digs the Silo and that is what he is playing. Now as far as his guitars getting special privy and speced out to his liking, when you can play like that those are the perks you get!

Am I the only one who listened to all 16 minutes of that guy Elliot Sharpe who was the next video that came on. I have no idea who he is but he is I guess you would call an experimental player, though I almost got hit in the head with a shoe by my wife at the 14 minute mark lmfao!

Rob it's a Silhouette in Honey burst with over sized fret markers and he now has his own signature model pickups in it (added after this video was shot) he also has signature humbuckers as well. Pete Dubaldo has a Honey burst Silo for sale if anyone is interested?
