I couldn't think of anything to promise
Take 2
If any lurkers join the forum I promise not to......
That's better. Now what do I promise not to do?
Take 3
Come on in I welcome you!
Well I'm sure that didn't help
Take 4
I love my EBMM guitars and bass. Please go buy one and you will understand what I am talking about. Even if you don't have one then you can hang out with us for a couple of thousand posts or so.
But only if you are cool cause only cool people join up here.
There! That's the ticket. Hopefully the Big Guy at EBMM (and I mean that on many levels) will approve of that

the forum had their all time high with 404 visitors, (thirty members, 374 lurkers).

Lets get more lurkers to dive in and join the fun.......

How can I possibly not accept an invitation....

I've been 'lurking' for nearly a year. I love reading the posts and although you don't know me I've had an interesting time reading and mostly empathising with the majority of contributors to this forum. You seem like a fun bunch of people and would be honoured to come on board. :D
A little about myself, I've owned an SR4 and SR5 in the past and lament the passing of the SR5 (Black, maple neck with piezo). I currently 'drive' a Sadowsky 5-24F and a MIA Fender Jazz Deluxe 5 but not to say there isn't room for more in the stable. I was on a skiing trip to Colorado last month and all the talk here of Bongos led me to trying one in Denver, what a cracking bass. If the dealer had had a '5' in stock in one of the darker colours my credit card would have taken a major hit! I definitely see one in my future. I've been playing since I was 11 which was (ahem) a long time ago. I'm more of a 'weekend warrior' nowadays and play in a rock covers band. I gig 50 to 60 dates a year and sometimes get the odd session or dep.
Pleased to be here.

Welcome! :)

Now, buy a Bongo. ;) :D

Dammit, that was fast!!!! The indoctrination begins...Mobay, I would love to. Egyptian smoke and graphite pearl are my faves. But by god, they sound so good, the booty on the Bongos I tried in Denver was just the best. These bongos are one of the finest innovations of recent bassdom. They manage to doff their hats to the institution of p & jazz basses whilst carving out a seperate identity. Brilliant.
