Welcome to the addiction!

Bongos are great basses. I just got my second one yesterday......and a third will be on it's way sometime soon. Glad you liked the one you tested out in Denver.

Again, welcome.

NOW.......if all the lurkers join up....you will get a Welcome to the addiction from me, bongo buying pressure from Mobay, Big Poppa's Code Monkey Gamma Skull Penetrating Rays, Bovinehosts humor, Dude's bass licking and one of my all time and enjoyable favorites....NorM writing to you in white font!

How can you pass on a deal like that?!?!?:D

My studio is air conditioned, but a fellow formite has told it me that it's colder than it should be. Would explain the jump in my sperm count ;)

Welcome Exlurker.

You don't have to buy a bongo.

You will have to read post after post of me proclaiming the Bongo 5 H is the best thing to play under a guitard there is.

Have fun around here. That is the important part being here.

Hey Lurker.....welcome out of the shadows....

just watch out for the language barriers......these Americans kinda talk funny, you find yourself using a's at the end of sentences instead of of's sometimes... (only joking guys.........)

enjoy the knowledge available...and there is heaps and heaps....

Yeah. You'll get some change back [I think] on your Sadowski, which you can put toward your 2nd Bongo .....

And there *is* the "Yanqui as a 2nd language" thing, but you'll get along, so Wilkum Pilgrimme.

Ha ha! Like your style Golem, I always smile at your posts. I can tell you, the Sadowsky is'nt going anywhere. They'll be using it as a box when I shuffle off this mortal coil!
You are right though I could get a few EB's instead.

No way, no way,no way,no way,no way,no way,no way, Bloody gamma rays...

I'll tell you what though, there are only two bass manufacturers from whom I would order an instrument unseen and unplayed, the S word and EBMM. I think for its price point EBMM make the finest quality and best value for money intruments period. (I should'nt say that at as BP will tell marketing to raise the prices)!

After trying one or two in Denver last month a Bongo 5 is definitely on the cards. My only conundrum is H or HH, I'll probably ask for opinions on their different merits from you good folk before I pull the trigger.

Thanks for the warm welcome you guys.

Don't forget the 007 version of the H, the H-P.

[P = piezo, NOT P-bass PU]

Hi!

Hi, I'm Vanni from Milan, Italy...

I have been lurking for long time... I've used a lot the search function, and I've found all the answers for my questions... ;)

One month ago I have decided to join the community, but my english is too bad to post!!:D

I really love MM basses, I own a lefty SR4 (I'm not Psycho Ward!;) :D ), and some year ago, when I start to play bass, my first one was a beautiful 'Ray 4!

I would love to add one Stingray 4 strings with RW board... maybe the next year!

Ciao!

Vanni
