I have been there (Dubai) several times and would love to go back and visit. Alas, I have a trip scheduled next month and me wife would kill me knowing I was going back over seas.......

Dubai ROCKS!

Dubai was the BOMB! I visited there in 1991.

Of course, I had just spent the previous 8½ months a LITTLE farther to the Northwest. So, it may have just looked good in comparison!

On the way back home we stopped in Barcelona. I assure you, Barcelona WAS the bomb!!

Hey Jonny,

Are you still gigging in Dubai? Let me know where you're at next time.

It is very rare indeed meeting another guy with a purple EVH. Had mine since 1994 (completely unfaded i'm pleased to add!). And yes, it is in DUBAI.

Let me know....I'll be back in Dubai in April. I'll be gigging with the Dubai Big Band and at Peanut Butter Jam every Friday at some point in the evening (on Bass)...so if you have a chance drop by.

I really miss Dubai.
I used to do 6 to 8 months stints at a time there between 1993-99 working in the resident band at the Astoria hotel.Didn't have my Ball then though just a St**t. As I remember it was near on impossible to buy a decent guitar there at that particular time.

If you came out here now, you would still have difficulty finding decent guitars here!

The Ernie Ball dealer doesn't have any EBMM guitars! Just the odd OLP :-(

Still the best thing to do here is to import from the states and never from the uk. (although if you take your US import to the uk from here, you can make a lot of money!!!)
