JP and Piezo pickups set

Hi, I own JP (amazing guitar! ) without the piezo pickups
and I am wondering if it is possible to
order it from EB/MM and have it installed?
does anyone know?

Hey Odor,

Its a huge job to fit a Piezo to an already completed JP. The costs of refinishing the body etc etc would far way out the cost of actually just selling your JP and buying one already loaded.

EB dont actually carry out any upgrades so to speak.

You can install an aftermarket piezo, but not the factory MM one. There are quite a few out there- Fishman, RMC, LR Baggs, Graph Tech, etc. The problem with the JP is getting piezo saddles that fit. But you might be able to buy the saddles from MM and then use a different preamp, not sure.

FWIW, I added the Graph Tech system to my Morse and love it. Getting a factory install is still your best route by far though. I only did mine as they don't do a piezo option on the Morse.
